Day 1: Arrive
You will be welcomed to the island with a flower lei and greeted by your guide who will assist you through your stay in Bali. Your guide will take you to the awaiting car for transfer to your hotel. Overnights at Alam Jiwa Ubud, 6 nights
Day 2 to Day 6: Ubud (B)
Breakfast is served daily. Tea and coffee complimentary throughout the day. Use these days to relax in your hotel and experience Balinese hospitality and attention. They will pamper you at any time possible. You may wish to walk to the village, which is a bit far but doable, and enjoyable. A shuttle is also available on an hourly basis. Day tours can be booked locally.
Full Day touring – villages near Ubud
We have included one full day of touring around Ubud and the surrounding villages with guide and van. Perhaps you could consider a day / drive that includes the art villages of Celuk (silver and gold), Mas (woodworking/carving), Pellatan (music), Amandari resort (views and rice paddies).
Day 7: Mar Magic of Northern Bali (B,L)
Pick up from Alam Jiwa in Ubud and drive to Northern Bali to Lovina Beach.
Private touring day. First we take you to the most scenic area of Pupuan and Antosari, the morning light is ideal for taking pictures of the unique rice terraces. After passing through the florid fields where there is also coffee, cacao and lots of fruits, we descend to the north coast. Lovina Beach, one of the more quiet beaches, is known for its nice black sand. There will be the opportunity for lunch. After a relaxation break we continue.
The day’s drive will total 230 km. It is a route winding up the mountain and offering magnificent views at 1200 meters above sea level where a striking panorama is revealed. We pass by Lake Buyan and Tamblingan with stops that allow you to view an area which is habitat for many species of birds, trees and flowers unseen anywhere else in the island. We also stop at Bedugul to visit Lake Bratan with its floating temple called Ulun Danu. This holy place is dedicated to the goddess of water, dwelling around the area. A bit further, we will make a stop at the local flower and fruit market. A good opportunity to get some tropical fruits, fresh and natural directly from the farmers. It’s a long day driving across Bali, but it’s worth it as you discover the heart of Bali’s impressive nature. Lunch is included. Overnight at The Lovina, 2 nights
Day 8: Lovina Beach (B)
Relax and rewind. Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy Lovina Beach.
Day 9: The Magic of East Bali (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel then begin sightseeing transfer to the east of Bali. You will be transferred to Candidasa in the East with stops at Kintamani and Besakih.
Private touring day. The journey proceeds to Kintamani to view the breathtaking Lake Batur and the active Volcano called Mount Batur (1730 m.). Here is an opportunity for you to have lunch (included) with an excellent view. Next destination id to the eastern part of Bali, which is dominated by the presence of the towering Mount Agung (3142 meters). It is Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano which last erupted in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, The Besakih Temple Complex is the most important temple and sacred to the Balinese Hindu population. It is therefore also called “The Mother Temple”. Afterwards proceed to check in at hotel in Candidasa. Overnight at Puri Bagus Candidasa, 2 nights
Day 10: Candidasa (B)
Day at leisure to enjoy Candidasa.
Day 11: Candidasa – Sanur Beach (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Then depart for the traditional and ancient Bali Aga village of Tenganan. Continue to Sanur Beach. Arriving in Sanur, check in at your hotel. Overnight Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, 3 nights
Day 12 & 13: Sanur Beach (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Use these days to relax in your hotel and experience Balinese hospitality and attention. You might wish to take one of the nights to visit Tanh Lot at sunset. The driving time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes each way. Visits to Nusa Dua beach might also be considered.
Day 14: Sanur – Denpasar – Departure (B)
After breakfast, enjoy the last hours in Bali. Perhaps have a last relaxing massage before check-out. Your guide will pick you up three hours before your flight and escort you to the airport.
