In both areas you will find a diversity of hiking trails that can be matched to any level of fitness, iconic mountain vistas, abundant wildlife, and a diversity of heritage points of interest.

Winter – not recommended without backcountry experience
Recommended length of stay: 2-4 days.
A trail permit is required, and limited to a maximum number of trail users per day. Bookings must be made in advance
Stay longer: This can be first or the final stop of a Golden/Yoho National Park, or Banff/Icefields Parkway/Jasper itineraries. Day hikes abound in the area of Mount Robson that include alpine, forest or lake trails of short, or medium length for all hiking levels. Near to the park are Moose flats and other wildlife hot spots.
