Day 1 Puerto Montt – Puerto Varas (B)
Arrival in Puerto Montt, capital of the Chilean Lakes district, you will be transfered to picturesque Puerto Varas. 1 night at Gran Hotel Colonos del Sur.
Day 2 Puerto Varas / Andean Lakes Crossing / Puella (B)
In the morning, departure to Ensenada. Stop to take photos of the Osorno Volcano. The first real stop, however, will be at Petrohué falls (entrance fee not included). These rapids and waterfalls were formed by the cooled lava coming from the volcano. Later, we will board the catamaran and get ready to cross the lake Todos Los Santos (All Saints lake), surrounded by high mountains with thick forests on the lower slopes. As we get away from the source of Petrohué River, the impressive size and proximity of the icecapped Osorno Volcano behind will capture your attention and certainly amaze you. Southwards, we will have the pleasure of seeing the peculiar shape of Puntiagudo volcano and some waterfalls. Arrival at Peulla, where we will have time for lunch (optional). This is the heart of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where we have the chance of enjoying Cascada de la Novia (Bride's Cascade), and a native Rainforest with an amazing amount of vegetation for these southern latitudes. Nominal Port taxes are paid locally. Overnight Natura Hotel.
Day 3 Peulla/San Carlos de Bariloche (B)
Morning in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. In the afternoon we will continue by minivan through Pérez Rosales pass, into Argentina. On the Argentine side, we will board a ferryboat crossing the lake Frías, followed by a short bus ride up to Puerto Blest from where the final sailing across the lake Nahuel Huapi will finally take us to San Carlos de Bariloche. 3 nights Cacique Inacayal Lake & Spa Hotel.
Day 4 Bariloche-San Marin de los Andes (B)
San Martin de los Andes – join in group tour with Spanish speaking guide and visit the ancient houses of the Mapuche indigenous people, villa la Angostura – a small village, and seven lakes with panoramic views of water and volcanoes.
Day 5 Bariloche (B)Day at leisure. Optional tour can be added to booked locally.
Day 6 Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure to your ongoing adventure.
